AirStop®
Professional (Pro) is a wireless endpoint security solution which prevents data leakage by
controlling all communications adapters and storage devices on laptop and
desktop computers.
AirStop®
Pro is part of the AirStop Software Suite which also includes
the AirStop Multiport and AirStop Wireless products. Please see the

Designed
as an enterprise application, the software enforces security policy by
allowing a single communications adapter to be used during a given
computing session.
In addition,
the "Sticky Wireless™" functionality ensures that wireless connections are made
only to authorized wireless networks as defined by the system administrator.
This prevents users from connecting to unauthorized networks in the area such as
the local cafe, neighboring networks, municipal WiFi and other public access networks.
Security
policy is defined by the administrator and enforced by the AirStop Pro software. By
adding the optional AirStop Server Module, administrators are given centralized control
of all AirStop clients including setting of individual, group and temporary security policy.
The AirStop Server also provides full reporting of all wired and wireless adapter activity
which is of great value for both tracing the source of data leakage and regulatory compliance
with data security standards as defined by Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and HIPAA. |
