Command Line Scripting for
Wireless Client Configuration
Run from the Windows Command Prompt this CLI automates wireless client configuration for both embedded and
external applications
AirBlock® CLI is the best solution for automatic configuration of wireless NICs in software applications which
require dynamic changing of client wireless parameters.
Applications may include: Proprietary wireless devices, testing of WiFi settings, troubleshooting wireless
connectivity and automated testing of WLAN hardware.
For developers, setting wireless parameters using the Windows interface can be a cumbersome and time consuming
operation. For QA and testing teams, automated setting of wireless parameters enables more efficient scripts for product
testing.
For IT departements, the software can be used for automatic
configuration of wireless devices for regulatory compliance or similar applications.
After the software is installed on a Windows XP machine, wireless parameters can be set form the Windows Command Line
prompt. The solution includes a syntax guide and clearly defined error codes for quick identification of points of failure.
